Back to Councillors

I have farmed in the Mackenzie District all my adult life and with my wife Margaret, have a family of five, one of whom works on the farm.

This is my second term as Mayor with six years as a Councillor to preceed that.

I have also been involved in a number of local committees including school committees, Board of Governors, Parish Council and Lions.

Mackenzie District has experienced record development and interest these last eight years and with number of Councillors reduced to six, I feel has reached a critical part of its history requiring business skills and local knowledge to ensure our future.

I have total respect for our unique district and ratepayers and I look forward to the challenges and opportunities that face the District.
