Solid Waste Management: Staff
Each RRP is run by a Resource Recovery Park Operator, who in turn reports to the Solid Waste Manager.
Owing to the strongly seasonal nature of the waste flow, extra operators are employed in Twizel during the summer. Several relieving staff are also called upon from time to time when permanent staff members take leave, are on a course or take ill.
Waste Management is overseen by the Operations Committee of Council, the body to which the Solid Waste Manager reports.
