Council are currently taking submissions for the Heritage Protection Fund.
The Council allocates $5,000 each financial year which is contestable by applicants.
The Heritage Protection fund is intended to preserve and enhance the heritage value of items or areas in the Mackenzie District.
The fund does not consider works that would demolish or remove buildings or items. The call for applications was made in March of this year and applications close on 31 May 2022.
