Twizel NZ Post Centre
Limited days and hours of operation on weekdays from Friday 22 December 2023 to Wednesday 3 January 2024, for NZ Post Centre services only.

Building
The Statutory Clock for processing stops on the Wednesday 20 December 2023, restarting on Wednesday 10 January 2024.
Final day for inspections is Thursday 21 December 2023. Full inspections resume on Monday 8 January 2024.
For the period 3, 4 and 5 January building officers can provide remote inspections however these will need to be arranged no later than close of business on Thursday 21 December 2023.
Building staff will be available from Wednesday 3 January 2024 with the Building Manager being on- call over the Christmas and New Year period.
LIM Applications
The last date for accepting LIM applications for processing in 2023 is Thursday 7 December, with urgent LIMs applications closing on Thursday 16 December. Processing (statutory time clock) will recommence on Wednesday 3 January 2024.
Planning / Consents
The Planning department will re-open Wednesday 3 January 2024.
The processing of resource consents (statutory time frame) pauses from Wednesday 20 December to Wednesday 10 January. This means that any consents lodged within this time will not have the ‘clock’ start.
There will be a planner on location each day the council office is open.
