Unfortunately an unforeseen technical issue overnight meant we were not able to get the water service restored to Twizel at 6.00am as planned. As at 7.30am water had been turned on and was starting to make its way through the network.
To get the network back up to pressure we are bleeding air out of the network at key points.
We expect the network to be back up to pressure by around 9.30 this morning.
If your supply is cloudy with air bubbles, running a tap will clear it.
