The Tekapo kerbside bin collection will not be taking place on Wednesday 11 June 2025.
This is due to current and forecasted weather conditions, and banked up snow creating safety issues for the bin trucks.
Tekapo bin collection days are as follows:
- Wednesday 18 June - Red rubbish bins, Green organic bins, Blue glass crates
- Thursday 19 June - Yellow recycling bins
Tekapo Resource Recovery Park
The Tekapo Resource Recovery Park will be closed on Wednesday 11 June 2025. The next opening date is planned to be Sunday 15 June.
