We request the following information:
A full breakdown of your art collection, including, but not limited to:
- The total number of artworks and for each the:
- Known or estimated value.
- Status of display (publicly or privately).
- Year of acquisition.
Please find attached a spreadsheet of artwork and photographs. MDC does not have a significant artwork collection therefore these are held on the same register and included on the spreadsheet is location of display or storage and the recorded year. There are no current values available.
The number of roles that involve working with your art collection, including:
- Their job title or role.
- Their annual salary or salary band.
There are no roles allocated to working with the art collection though there has been a project between information management and communications team to document and display the items listed on the MDC website.
How much is allocated in your yearly budget to be spent on art, (not including Creative NZ funding) broken down by:
- Upkeep or acquisitions of new artwork.
- The last time this amount was reviewed.
There is no budget to be spent on art.
