1. Do member councils deal with stock on STHW, if so, how is this managed. Or do they refer these jobs to Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) and their contracted maintenance crews who are responsible for managing stock on state highways.
Council do not deal with stock on State Highways.
These jobs are referred to contracted maintenance crews of Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency (NZTA).
2. Do members council members deal with stock in the Railway corridor? Or do they refer stock on the railway line to KiwiRail.
The Mackenzie District does not have any railway.
