Are freedom camping officers employed seasonally?
If so what months and hours worked?
Response:
Council has one full-time Regulatory Officer who assists in the Freedom Camping period.
We have two contractors who operate during the Freedom Camping period which is from October through until June/July.
Contractors work early in the morning and at the end of the day.
Hours are generally 4 hours per day.
