Sam Frank joined the team at Carters Tyre Service in Twizel after finishing at school, starting his employment journey.
Owners Mike and Emma Herrick own Carters Tyre Service in Fairlie and Twizel and were happy to offer Sam the opportunity to join them at the Twizel branch. Sam is enjoying his new job and the variety of work involved.
Mike and Emma worked with Leaine Rush, Mayors Taskforce for Jobs (MTFJ) co-ordinator, to secure funding from the MTFJ programme, which assists with wages and purchasing a uniform for Sam.
Sam also passed his learner driver licence with the assistance of MTFJ, achieving a 100% pass rate.
Mackenzie District Council and MTFJ wish Sam every success in his new career pathway.
