An urbanisation project is taking place at Motuariki Lane, opposite Dark Sky Project, Tekapo, starting on Monday 9 May and finishing on Friday 27 May. The project is being undertaken by Schick Civil, who are contracted by Mackenzie District Council.
The project involves the carpark's surface being scraped to a smooth finish, and asphalted. Rocks currently on-site will be relocated to the top left corner of the carpark.
Closure Dates
Carpark will be closed from Monday 9 May to Tuesday 17 May.
