A Citizenship Ceremony took place on Tuesday 18 August 2026 at Mackenzie Community Centre, Fairlie, welcoming new citizens to New Zealand and the Mackenzie District.
Citizenships were presented to Jolene Tanner (Australia), Niamh Doherty (Ireland), Charles Aho (Tonga) and Lisa North (Australia).
