A report from BECA on the Twizel Events Centre was considered by councillors at today’s Council meeting (Tuesday 19th October).
Council have approved funding to address the issues identified as a matter of priority. Funds, a plan and a project manager are in place.
The building has a current Certificate of Public Use and is therefore available for use while work is carried out.
At this stage, bookings are not impacted, and Council will liaise with users should the work program conflict with planned activities. Council will share more information via our website when further information becomes available.
