If your drinking water comes from a private well, come to the Orari Temuka Opihi Pareora Water Zone Committee's Well Water Check, at Fairlie Golf Club on Monday 16 May from 3pm to 5pm, to test your water quality for free.
Bring a sample of your water to:
- Test for nitrate concentrations and get help understanding the results
- Talk to experts about potential options to improve your private drinking water supply
- Find out about other drinking water standards you should be meeting, including E.coli levels and where to get water tested
- Talk to water zone committee members about water quality issues in your area and what action is being taken.
