It’s time to dig out those voting papers and decide who you’re going to vote for before voting closes at midday on Saturday 11th October.
RETURNING YOUR VOTING PAPERS
- You can pop your votes into the post BEFORE THE END OF TUESDAY 7 OCTOBER, or
- You can drop them in to one of our orange voting bins (Four-square shops in Twizel and Fairlie, Kiwi Treasures in Tekapo), or
- You can drop them off at either of our Council offices during our regular opening hours. Council offices will be open this Saturday 9-12 for last minute drop-offs.
NO PAPERS?
No worries – you can still do a Special Vote. To do this, you will need to call in to either Council office (Fairlie or Twizel, during opening hours)) and ask for a Special Vote. We’ll give you your voting papers (it’s now too late for us to post them out.) We will also be open on Saturday morning from 9am to midday. Please note it can take up to 20 minutes to process a special vote.
