Are you community minded? Do you have an interest in the arts? Do you live in the Mackenzie District?
The Mackenzie District Creative Communities assessment committee has vacancies and are seeking:
- Two people interested in representing Mackenzie Youth on the committee.
- One person to represent Twizel on the committee.
What’s involved?
You will take part in committee meetings to assess applications for funding from artistic individuals and community groups. These meeting are usually twice a year.
Regarding the assessment process, you will be provided with learning and support from Creative NZ, other committee members and from the Mackenzie District grant administrator.
The Creative Communities Scheme (CCS)
Creative New Zealand provides annual CCS funding to local and district councils throughout New Zealand to distribute in their area. The scheme supports more than 1,800 projects every year.
