Council has decided to postpone the Extraordinary Council meeting to Tuesday the 19th May at 9.30am to allow additional time to fully review the information that has a direct impact on the Annual Plan and rates.
During the Council workshop, councillors identified that they required further detail and clarity on a number of matters, particularly capital projects.
Postponing the meeting allows officers time to provide councillors with further requested information, ensuring decisions are made on a fully informed basis.
This approach reflects Council’s commitment to financial prudence, transparency, and acting in the best interests of ratepayers.
The meeting will now be held on Tuesday 26 May at 9.30am.
