Second hand items
For second hand items, try listing these on the local buy/sell groups or auction site. These can be a great way to sell or pass on items that are still useful, and it avoids having to throw them into landfill.
Clean and tidy clothing, books, kitchenware, and sometimes furniture and other household items, can be donated to a local Op Shop. Contact your local shop in advance if you want to check what they accept, and please, don’t just dump it on their doorstep if they are closed when you get there.
