Council’s contractors will be inspecting and cleaning a key section of the Twizel sewer system between 12 and 16 January 2026. This work will involve water blasting and CCTV inspection of the sewer mains.
The nomination period to fill the extraordinary vacancy for the Twizel Community Board has now closed. Nominations have been received from Tony ATWOOL, Tom GOODMAN, Pat SHUKER, and Zoe WHITE.
An unplanned power outage has affected our water pumps and the water supply in Twizel has been affected.
